When we founded in 1977, we wanted to become the number one enforcement agent company, nationwide.

To achieve this, Edmund Bristow and Simon Sutor developed processes that could ensure success both for ourselves and for our clients. Their biggest mission was to create a company that is firm, but fair; one that takes our debtors’ situations and sensitivities into consideration whilst following our clients’ guidelines.

As time went on, rules and regulations changed - and so did our ways of working. We have always strived to ensure that we work as effectively and ethically as possible while maintaining our market-leading collection rates.

When TCE came into effect in 2014, we were immediately compliant thanks to comprehensive research and planning by our Compliance Team.

Now in 2022, the original Bristow & Sutor ethos still remains: we always want to deliver a better service!
